Ronaldo Roberto Carlos Cicinho and Robinho begin preparation

The days off awarded by Carlos Alberto Parreira are over. It's time to begin the pre-World Cup preparation in the Swiss town of Weggis. The four Real Madrid players will begin their field work on Wednesday afternoon. Until that moment, the Brazilians will be busy preparing tactical sessions and dealing with the mandatory medical check-ups.
Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Cicinho and Robinho are already in Weggis, a quaint town in Switzerland on the banks of Lake Lucerne. All the locals are fascinated with the arrival of the five-times World Cup champions. Brazil manager Carlos Alberto Parreira already has his chosen 23 footballers at his command with their sights set on defending the title won four years ago in the Japan & Korea event. Since the different national championships -Spanish, Italian, Brazilian, French- finished, the group has enjoyed a short one-week recess before beginning the two-week preparation period.
